If I could keep mine, yes. I think I would take the vrod muscle first, in black.

One of my buddies went from a Yamaha FZ1 to a VRSCR street rod, basically a regular v-rod with mid controls. It was a very quick bike - I'd love to have a night rod, but wouldnt trade my dyna for one. Apparently it just wasn't fast enough for my buddy either, he picked up a kawi ZX-10r the next season.

My best Friend has that exact back, Night Rod, 2007. They are nice bikes, quick and completely blacked out. I would like to have one, but as others have said I would not trade my bike for one. But if money was no object, ........

I agree. Call me narrow minded or whatever, but there are some things in life that are supposed to look and feel a certain way. My mind has a certain image/concept of what a Harley is supposed to be. VRods do not fit in that picture. Even if money was no object, I would never have one of these.

I realize there is a market for them. And to each their own. But I consider the VRod blasphemous to the Harley name. In short, I hate it.

Yeah, I like them, and the style even. I am just not comfortable sitting on them. That's just me though. I think they are a sweet bike.

I dig the way the muscle looks and think it would be an awesome 2nd bike but would never give up my bob for it.

I have a denim black "Street Rod", the model with mid controls. Probably not my favorite bike, but certainly cool in its own way. The Street Rod is taller, had a larger tank, different frame, much better clearance in the corners, , etc.

Lots of top end power, low torque. Really great brakes, typical (lousy) HD suspension Way too heavy, at times i think HD actually tried to make it heavy...

Handles fine, although with the suspension mods I have made, my FXD is more fun and handles better in the twisties (this might change if I did similar mods to the Street Rod though).
