Almost bought one when instead of the dyna. Looking back I'm glad I made the choice I did because I wanted something I could **** around with modwise. Still look at them everytime I go to the stealership though, probably end up with one down the road.
I thought about it vs. the street bob... glad I went the way I did, those things just don't look too comfortable to ride on, like a crotch rocket with fwd controls? May end up with one someday though...esp if I had the $$, why not?
I have the standard V-Rod, not the Night Rod, but basically the same bike with a little different look.
It's the best handling bike I have ever owned. I also love my Fat Bob but the V-Rod can run circles around it in every possible way. But one thing to remember, they are two totally different bikes so it would make sense they would feel and handle differently.
I urge everyone to ride one if you ever get the chance. It's just a fantastic bike.
Well, I can shamefully admit that I would trade my bob for it in a heartbeat. Thats my favorite stock production bike. That thing handles amazingly as well. Took it for a test ride and that 240 rear actually feels really good. Really quick too, and the braking is phenominal. I will own this bike some day. Maybe a couple/few years down the road.
I wanna ride one. Love the looks but I'd have to be pretty darn impressed with the handling and ride quality to give up the classic HD look, feel, sound, etc... maybe if someone makes magic pipes that make it sound like a harley...
