I dont like the look of the horn i relocated mine to the bottom drawer of my tool box! It stopped shaking.

Yes. It's only a single point mount, and it's mounted on that rubber cylinder. Best fix is to remove it...that's what I did.

That silver thing on the hanging between the cylinders ??? I thought that was my turbotronic air-intake thingymibob,changed it for a black one but no change..still vibrates ... : (

If its making noise your mount might be loose where it connects to the motor. Mine did that after a long trip. Shaking without noise is normal.

Add these for counterbalance.



Yeah, they still vibrate at idle but at least they look better than the bare cowbell.

The "imperfections" are what make it a Harley! They are what make us human, which is why humans are so drawn to Harleys.

That's just one of the many nuances of the air cooled Harley V-Twin, it shakes when rubber mounted. The 96B engines are counterbalanced and don't exhibit the shake that the 96A's have. Sometime during your ownership don't be surprised if some part doesn't fall off due to the vibes. The rubber is on the cowbell mount to help absorb this vibration, one more thing if your leg is up against the cowbell when you use the horn you'll feel it.
