Red face V&H pipe identification

Can someone tell me what pipes are on my bike. I purchased it new, so I don't know. I *think* they're big shots from what I coul tell from their website, but not sure. Also, I'd like to get baffles for the pipes, but know absolutely nothing about them and how they're installed. I looked inside my pipes and there is something that goes about a foot or so down the pipe from the end in a spiral, but don't know what that is either. They're about the size of a nickel cut in half and only against the pipe.....the center is hollow. I get a lot of bluh bluh bluh sound out of the pipes when I use the gear box to slow down. Thanks,

Mike

Pretty sure they are the big shot longs . They used to be called long shots, but I think they changed the name in recent years... I think.

Those are the big shots staggered. Stock baffles in em. To remove the baffles you have to loosen the heat shields (first remove end caps) and slide them back a few inches to get to the screws that hold the baffles in place. They should slide right out. If you don't like the sound there are a lot of different choices for baffles. The big shots are gonna sound mean pretty much no matter what you do to em.

no no, its more like WAH BAH! lol

Long shots are a different model V&H pipe completely. Longer length, not staggered, smaller diameter, no power chamber.

They are definitely big shot staggered pipes, but is unusual how long they are and that they angle down so much.

Mine end at the lower shock mount, not by the rear axle and are level with the swingarm. It may be that they are for a different model or year bike.

If the rear had been lowered that might explain the angle.

Yep...Big Shot Staggered... just like mine. I removed the stock baffles & inserted the Quiet(er) baffles. Got a nice low, loud tone now.

I could, but it wouldn't be near as much fun as re-reading it

Definitely Big Shots Staggered. The long shots are very long and end up the same length.
