I have been wanting to keep the mid controls (spent wayyyyy too much for pipes, bags, brackets, rear modulator(keep the lights on) to spend it on forward controls. I am looking for highway pegs that will mount in the forward frame holes and if possible are black? Any suggestions what I can use or find them? Mako[sm=crossbonesgif.gif]
yeah, I would like them too. I actually like the mid controls more. I rode a rocket for ten years go figure. I put on the Drag bars too so with the forwards on I dont think I would sit right.
My 06 dyna low rider came with the black rubber highway pegs that fold in. I don't know what the part number is but they have a bracket that attaches to the 2 frame holes. Hit my pics and you can see them.
I just put engine guards on so I'm getting a set of highway pegs that fit on the inside of the radius of the guard and fold down. The stock ones are too close to the frame and my right leg gets too close to the front exhaust pipe when its hot outside. [:'(]
i put them on my sb and there great. they are in the j&p cataloge. its very nice on longer rides to be able to switch up the positions, money well spent
from personal experience, forget the highway pegs and get the kuryakyn mustache highway bar. much, much, much more comfortable than the frame bolt on pegs.
I got the ones from J&P they work good and are way cheaper that HD ones. I had to put on Kuryakyn footpeg offset to get the highway pegs to come a little closer (short man's disease), but it worked out fine.
i got the highway pegs from j&p also, price was right. plus i think you are better off with highway pegs and mid controls because on long trips you can move your feet to different positions.....

Hey, you know you can also just leave your mid pegs on with forward controls installed to get the same effect. [8D]
