Will a Crossbones set-up fit my Dyna? I see an 08 crossbones A/C unit on Ebay. Also, would it require a EFI re-cal?

my set up is from a cross bones backing plate, air tubes, air filter the cover is of a old fxr but any round harley cover will fit best part its stock i run short shots and didnot do a thing to the computer hope i helped you out i just did not want to spend alot of money at this time henry

 

Thanks. It's so confusing. Half the people say you have to re-do the computer when you switch A/C; the other half doesn't. I'm leaning your way. My Rush slip ons come Fri., and I'm itchin to change the A/C too.

Everyone has different thoughts, when I was shopping I was told change either ac or pipes and you can get by, although probably a bit lean, change both and need some fuel management, whether by a tuner, or stage 1 download.

Also dont be surprised if they charge you labor for the download as well, so 150 plus labor... its a rip, but its a harly as well.

I did the download, and it was probably a waste of money, as I now want a tuner so i'd be 1/2 way there if id have just saved the ac until i had the money for the tuner.
