Have you seen the front fork turn signal mounts from Kuryakyn? They seem to look much better than the ones from H-D, but they are also twice as expensive but they seem like they may be what your looking for. I saw them in the J&P catalog and I was shocked to see they have them for our big ole 06 Dyna forks.

Also RudeDog hooked me up with a tank lift as well. Mine is a 2in lift.

Yup. I got a real close up look at them. Got a set sitting on my bar right now waiting to go on this weekend. Can't wait! I already know that after I get them moved I'm going to want to put the smoke lenses on.
I did a 2 1/4" lift without changing any thing,, However I think I will later, might be just a slight bit of stress on the fuel crossover, wouldnt want to rub any holes...
5701andbroke, I copied this from a site offering it up for sale.
Besides looking good, (it gives the appearance the frame was chopped and stretched) it allows easier access for you to clean and polish the top of your rocker covers, and allows better airflow and heat dissipation over the top of your V-TwinÂŽ air cooled motor for additional cooling.
* Simple quick installation
* Adds a custom chopped look
* Allows more air to reach the engine
* Shows more of your chrome
* Gives you more room to clean
