Figured i'd post a few pics of the mod's i did over the winter. I added the console from a Screamin Eagle Dyna, moved the ignition from the forks to the console, and added a spun aluminum speedo and mini tach. Thanks for everyone's help...i asked alot of questions over the last couple months on how to get this done.
I really like the way that looks. What does the neck of the frame look like now that you relocated the ignition switch? Any pics? What do you like best about having the ignition switch up on the tank as opposed to the neck of the frame?
The neck of the frame looks the same because i didn't touch the existing switch. I was thinking of ordering the switch decal that does not have the ignition and acc. designation on it, to kind of complete the look.
I like that you don't have to keep the key in the ignition. I could never have anything else on the key ring (helmet lock key) because while i was riding it would hit against the frame in the wind. Also the switch is right there, you don't have to reach and fiddle with the switch on the frame.
