I think the key to pulling off apes on the FB is very short risers and minimum pull back. I've seen a few with 3" or more risers and it's just not something i'd go for.

I just went and measured. I want a short riser and wild 1 572's 14.5" apes. I had the 572's on my RoadGlide and they were perfect for that setup. With the short risers this will be just what I want/need. Thanks again!

I think I am going to order the pre wired bars from Ebay and they give you the cables/lines needed. I am going to call them tomorrow for some info because I don't know just what is involved in changing the throttle and clutch cables.

I am "this guy" and thanks for the compliments. The bars are from BR Custom Cycles in New York. The owner (Brian I think??) is a really cool guy and basically will make the bars the way you want them. He will make whatever you want and he makes some really cool stuff.

I am a huge fan of Apes - I have 18's on my Sporty - but I'm not a fan of them on Fat Bobs. Right up until I saw yours - SICK! I was plannin on going with 12-14" risers and keepin the Stock bars, but now I'm re-thinkin that. I still don't theink that the "traditional" Apes look right on the FB - but these are the ****!!!!
