Who's got LeatherLykes?
I had a set of LeatherLykes on my Sportster, purchased on eBay. Mounted them with some modifications, took them off when I traded it in.
The holes on the bags line up perfectly with the holes on my FXDC, and the number stamped on the inside seems to indicate that they were really Dyna bags in the first place (so, ya know - yippie).
On the Sporty, I had the bags attached with u-bolts to a set of saddlebag supports, and the supports I have for the Dyna aren't quite kosher with this method. I tried mounting the right bag just using a bolt going to into the fender struts, but there's really something that just doesn't rub me right about this method. Maybe I need to try some different bolts, or fashion some sort of sheet metal support plate.
Anybody done the "bolts only" mount and remain pleased with it? It seems like it's asking for trouble.
