I'm not sure what it runs, but I am sure I will go to the track at least once or twice this year. I will try and report back.
For some, performance is more important than looks. Some pefer looks over performance. I prefer alittle of both. Its not a matter of age, its a matter of interest.

right on dude
I am the same way,I like the style looks but must have a go to....
because without some serious engine work, these are just not 1/4 mile machines...
I think that depends on what you call "serious engine work" and what your idea of "1/4 mile machine" is. I wouldn't doubt you could get one in the mid 12s with some minor stuff like cams, pipes, intake, and dyno tune(assuming all the parts work well together). I think that a 12 sec cruiser would be enough for most people, I don't think he was wanting a all out drag bike.
Obviously you have not experienced a trip down the strip. I had a GTO that started out in the 15's and continued messing with it until it ran 11's. I haven't been in years and I miss it enough I might just take the bike or mama's Alitima this year.

we got a local 1/4 mile track that have twice a year all Harley's drag days and plenty (non grow children) showing up on this events to have fun with their bikes.IF YOU COME BACK HERE TO POST AGAIN I'LL JUST IGNORE YOUR POSTS.
If you take your mama's Altima to the strip be careful and don't mess it up or she will ground you. My parents would have been pissed if I ever took their car to the drag strip.
I think ko4qc was just makin a funny. Ya see them little symbols at the end of his post that look like a smiley face. I reckon that means his comment was tongue in cheek. Thats the way I took it anyhow. Dont think he was tryin to be a douche, but what the hell do I know?

exactly!
if a cruiser runs 12's I considering that a muscle bike, fun on a street and fun on the track, good enough for me.

That would be mama as in wife so I would really be in a heap of crap if I hurt it.
