street bob headlight mods?

Hi all
im in the process of finishing my front end and i dont think the headlight looks right...any mods out there? pics? looking to stay with a black look

You can throw a frenched trim ring on it to give it a little depth or do like I did and put a 7" light with frenched trim ring.

I installed a Fatboy headlight shell. It's chrome, but could be painted/powder coated. Different than what you see on most dynas.

Yep, 7" Fat Boy headlight on mine and it is my favorite mod. Look at other stock bikes. You might like the Fat Bob headlight.

Here's a mod I did with mine. I cut 5/8" off the mountimg block to better center it between the trees.

That is a great idea. The headlight looks way more centered that way.

Not to hijack the thread, but the easiest way I found was to use the wiring harness from my stock light and add a Sylvania Ultra star bulb. That made it a direct plug and play option. The paint is Valispar brand satin black from Lowes.
