I'd check the receipt to see what kind of tuner they installed. It might have been just the 'download', but who knows. Once you know what they charged you for you can go from there.

Can't say enough GOOD about it. Kept the sert as a paper weight.
I thought I wanted a PC until I heard some horror stories similar to what dyna rider heard, which moved me to buy the SERT and live with it. Besides, the SERT will allow for a finer tune if dyno properly. Thus, finding the best dyno tech is a must!
How much did you pay?
What did they give you when you left?
With the SERT and the TTS, there is nothing left plugged in on the bike, and really the largest component of these is the software, and a small interface box and communication cable.
A stage.1 download would have cost you around 150 bucks. The SERT I was told runs around 450.
You should have gotten a small box, communication cables and software if you bought the SERT.

A dyno run is always the best when you have a good dyno-tech-tuner. But the TTS (I'm assuming SERT has it also, as TTS used to provide the SERT) has a built in tuning method. Using the 'dyno-tune' datalogging, and the v-tune software.

Race tuner was $459.00
4 hrs dyno time $320.00
I ended up finding the race tuner, they had it shoved in a stock slip on that was in a box... hmmm??
Should I have gotten cables, I got the cd and tuner now but no cables
From what i understood the cables were a seperate part# and kit

As always there are so many choices and so many opinions.
I just finished reading the RIDEMAX website and all there hype about a wireless Tuner Available now. Ride Tuner and Ride Max!?!?!?!
Anyone have any first hand knowledge on the RIDEMAX by American Microfuel??? Not out for Dyna yet but available for Sportsters and Softail etc.
Sorry for 459, you should have gotten cables. I spent about 470 on the latest TTS and that included the cable set. However, I don't necessarily agree with the cost of the cable set.... but it's better safe than sorry though.
