Default How do you turn it off?

Do you use the handlebar switch then take the key out, or just turn the key to off?

Just take the key off and the engine is primed automatically when you turn the key ON the next time. Then just hit the START switch.

Any reason to do it one way and not the other?

I turn it off on the handle bar switch and then take the key off. Plus it's easier to reach than the key..

The book says you "should" use the on/off switch.

I just let it run out until it's of gas.

Just kidding, I use the switch.

I use the switch on the handlebars... it just doesn't feel right when I take the key out.. not sure why, but I just do. Is there a difference in what it does?

I use the bar switch. That's what I was told when I picked it up. And since this is my first HD, what the hell, I'll go by the book on a thing or two for now.
