I made a few more changes to my bike over the last 2 weeks. I had become tired with the look .... plus I wanted to clean things up a great deal. So... after a trip to the Barber's Museum last week I pulled the bike in for a little work. My object was to clean the front end up .... combined with the other things I've done over the last couple of months I think the SuperGlide has turned out rather well. I'm diggin' the new look and will leave the bike alone for a spell and just ride.
The List:
Black Powder to smaller covers / Relocated front signals / Rolled mirrors under the bars / Re-installed stock risers / Rolled the bars up / Ditched the Shield.
Nice and clean, good look. I would echo the barbarian's question about the mirrors tho. I can't imagine you can see much... aren't your arms in the way?
Wow! Looks really clean man!! Very nice.. im digging the new look. Mirrors flipped look WAY better in my opinion. Glad I did it with mine. But I only have the left side. Its pretty cool. Visibility is pretty decent. My arm kinda gets in the way sometimes, but its not to bad. Sweet looking ride man.
nice clean look. i had my mirrors tucked under on old bars and loved it. looks cleaner and i found the visibility to be better. just had to put new mirrors on when i changed bars. the black covers really draw attention to the motor
Looks good. I like how clean the front of your bike looks now. How hard was it relocating the wires for the turn signals? Thats one of the first things I want to do to my Bob and I plan on doing the work myself.
