I got some buy the name "ElectroPods"6 Leds per pod Got one uner the horn faceing the motor & another under the AC faceing the motor a third on the frame between the battery box and electic panel two more called "step lights" 3Led's per pod one on each side of the swingarm just below the axle, they light the rear wheel up nice.I wired them to a switch and got power from the tail light .So if you forget to shut them off, they will go off with the main switch and save your battery!Cost=$70.
man i have done a TON of LED kits, including my bob... it is all about how you possititon take your time to get the most out of each light... also you notice how you can not see where the lights are only the effects that they have... that is how real LED kits are done my friend!
here are a few i have done... let me know if you have any ?s
my bob
ok 2 more..
my brothers chop... we wanted to accent the motor, so that is done in a plasma white, why the rear and front wheels are done in ultra white... camera does nto show it but it looks SINISTER... looks like the wheels are on fire and the motor is glowing
add LED's to candy blue paint and you get some COOOOOOL effects!
i hard line all mine in, on a sep fuse... the pods i use change depending on the bike... on the chop i used a light strip about as thick as a credit card... for pods i have a buddy in Canada that hand makes all mine using high intensity LED's... there are some good pods out there... depends what you wnat to do... to do a full light up, i use 15 pods, this allows me to light the front and rear tire, to do the motor like the 1st blue bike i use 10. but as i stated it all is in how you possition them!
