I bought the chrome detach sideplates (52866-06) right before HD released the same in vivid black (52124-09). Really frustrating. Anyway, I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has the vivid black set and would like chrome, I'll do a straight-up swap. These things have hardly ever been used...basically mint. Post here or PM me, thanks!
Good luck finding someone that has the black ones. I ordered the black from Chicago HD five weeks ago, and every week I call wondering and get "HD has backordered them til next week." So, with that said, good luck finding someone else.
I was unable to get the the sissy bar and backrest attachement is black so I think I might get them powder coated to match the detachable sideplates. Funny how HD releases the sideplates in black but doesn't release the rest of the setup in black so that it will fit a FXDF.

Yeah, I don't understand the MoCo sometimes...I could just get the chrome plates blasted and powder coated, but this would be a lot cheaper/simpler.
