The pcIII is a bit larger. A bit more fun to install. You could give me a reason to take a ride this weekend. I'll help you install and have my bike there as a reference.
By the way, I'm diggin the red rims.
Thanks......i just got it about ten minutes ago, trying to figure out if im gonna do it myself or just pay South East custom Cycles $137.50 to do it ...i just dont know about these 02sensor eliminators that came and if the pre-loaded program thats in it is going to work with my set-up.....im thinkin i might need to find a dyno locally and have it done right....
Wait..you tore the back end of your bike apart and a couple of o2 eliminators got you worried?
Also, if you have a laptop, download the powercommander software, then hook the pcIII to your laptop. Make sure the 9v is connected to the pcIII or the laptop will not read the info on there. The map should have a text field showing what the map is for.
I tried to search powercommander.com for a map for ya but my work network seems to want to block powercommander.com from displaying the results of my search. I can view the entire dang site but not the list of maps.
i dont have a pic, but I installed it myself behind the electronic board. but when I took it in to have it mapped they changed it and put it facing up under my seat. I think the key is to have the buttons clear of anything that might rattle them and srew up your fuel ratio. when I had it where I installed it I had a bucnch of problems. but when they switched it it has been fine ever since.
