Default Fuel Tank Question

Just curious, do the cells in the fuel tank on my lowrider connect in the back of the tank or are they just connected by the line that runs under the front? I just put a tank lift on and obviously raising the tank will effect how quickly the gas is not able to reach the opening for the line running under the front. Anyone know for sure?

Have you run out of gas,or just that the gauge reads different,or the gas light comes on sooner? When I raised my tank,it seems that the light comes on sooner, but I can still go same amount of miles per tank.

My bike is an 02, I haven't even rode it yet since I put on the lift. I was just thinking about the tank and wondering if the tank was two seperate cells or shared an opening at the back of the tank to allow fuel to flow from one side to the other.

On the '06 I know that it is open near the back...would assume yours to be the same.
