What pipes are they? I have the Cobra Speedster Slashcut pipes on mine. I have rode with several people and at first they all say no problem, I can ride behind you, then after about 20 miles thay are in front of me saying those pipes are too loud.

They might not seem loud to you, have some of your buddies ride behind you and ask them what they think. Mine are not as loud to me as I would like, but people riding behind me think differnt.

Damn Gw, those are some long pipes. Maybe that is why they don't sound so loud. You would have to be 2 bikes back to just to be near the end of them
Just kiddin'

My friend has a soft tail with V&H longshots... essentially looks the same as yours and he keeps talking about getting other pipes.
I don't think he realizes how loud they are but they have a great rumble to them.
Maybe switch to big city thunder baffles ???

Umm, yeah, you gotta pull the baffles bro. The decibel level will increase substantially.

they seem quieter because the pipes are longer and the sound is alot farther away from you making it sound quieter. have your buddy ride it down the street and listen to the bike when he rides by. if not take a hacksaw to them and cut the in half . jackyl
