Well im thinking about trying out the bct baffles and went to thier website to look at them, they only show the outside of them.Whats in the inside? nothing. How do they create back pressure? By they pipe just going to a smaller diameter? I didnt see any type of louvers or anything.

They are basically a washer on a metal stick in the center of the choke down. Essentially a fancy Lollipop Baffle, though very well made and I thought worth the price.
If you want to get really crazy with it you can make your own although I don't think that you would get the same results, but its possible

There is a lollipop inside of the baffle and other than that it's pretty smooth. You can mount these with the lollipop facing towards the motor or towards the end of the pipe. Motor = more top end, end of pipe = more low end. I didn't feel really any difference either way, but drill a new hole 6" from the end of the pipe to install these. They'll recommend you do it for maximum performance.
Does your new pipes take the same baffle as the side shots?
if not perhaps you should put that money towards getting the side shots, you said you heard them and liked them?
just a thought, i have chased stuff and i still am, but it usually winds up being cheaper in the long run if i just get what i want in the first place.
now if i could just decide if i should have gotten the chrome sideshots or the black....
