Not tryin to be a Smart *** - but I had a Jingle and it was buggin the crap outta me - turned out it was the Gremlin Bell hangin on the down tubes. I never had one before so it threw me for a loop. I've also gotten it from Heat Shields that were not necessarily loose, just positioned a little off center. Good Luck!
On my LR there is a small chrome cover at the base of the handlebars. If I'm not mistaken, it just clips on and that was jingling. Now I forget how I got it to stop, but it was driving me nuts.
Please try and remember--I have the same exact thing and it drives me nuts.
I was getting a rattle real bad - only at high speed last year for about a week I was going nutzo! Turned out the snaps on the detachable visor on my helmet was loose from beating in the wind! LMAO
HAHAHA LMAO!! That is way to funny.. I got a good laugh out of that!! hahaaha...
But yeah, this is seriously beginning to bug me out. I can't find it. It's really starting to make me upset.
I just eliminated two last week. One was loose nuts on the bracket that connects the slip ons, and the other was some play in the front mount of my left floorboard (fixed by wedging some pipe insulation in the hinged joint). Rattles drive me nuts, too, so I feel your pain.

If you are talking about the cover that tightens on the steering stem nut, just put a little silicone or Permatex on it before you tighten it up. Mine did it...took a little to track it down.
[b] AdrianVall[/ib] - Take a look at your exhaust baffle. The weld broke on mine. With the exhaust behind you all the noise coming out it was hard to track down. Worth a shot.

I'm not sure that I'm able to take out my baffle in my thunderheaders.. but I'm pretty sure I know where its coming from, I just can't find it. One sounds like the air filter (I've taken it apart and put it all back together already..) and the other sounds like the front end somewhere. Its really wierd..
I had that. i found one was the gas tank cap. the other was the wire hold down under the rear fender. it bolts on at the license plate bolt. it got worse when I got my thunderheader, and I had to figure it out.
Jake hit the spot on mine. Same clip on cover - sounded like glass in the instruments jingling. I stuck in some rubber to temp fix it. I think the felt pads for pictures may work and look better. Dang, I thought it was the headlight, then the fork and was going to go to heavier oil. Thanks Jake!!!
