This should help explain my SN I bought it new in 04. Did every mod to it myself.
Some highlights-Belt driven on board air compressor, 4.88 gears, Chromolly axle shafts, Long arm lift kit, 8k lb winch 35" tires with real beadlocks. Getting near 16k in mods alone!
No damage in that last one!!!

Nice looking 63... I built a 70 from the ground up about that same color when I was high school. I would like to build a notchback if I can find one with out rot for a decent price.
Thanks!! I also love the notch and am always looking BUT haven't found any for cheap worth saving. Here is one I think looks great - look at the price
VW prices have gone crazy, for nice ones. I had the 70 bug, and a 69 bus, wish I would have held on to them.
Your not kidding - I am always looking and can't believe what people are asking for some of their cars. Beetles aren't so bad but try and look for a decent split window bus?!?! forget it!!
These pictures are frm last Fall (the Body is on the Frame now) but here is what I'm currently building-I chopped the Top and filled it, and too many other Mods to list them all (4W Disc Brakes, narrowed 9", Heidt's IFS, stainless lines, stainless Tank, PS,etc.-I've got a 540 BBC (about 675h.p.) for it-
I'm in the (slow) process of rebuilding a 1971 Honda CB100.
Some might ask why and the answer to that is, because I want to. This is what it "should" look like when I'm done.
After I cut my teeth on that my father has a 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible that needs to be restored. Sweet car.
