Need more pullback...
On my '09 Super Glide Custom I like the height of the stock bars but find that I am leaning forward more than I'd like to.
Are there any cheap options to get a little more pull back on the bars?
Would a different set of pullback risers help?
About 2-3 inches closer would be about right.
I am trying for a solution that allows for a little more pull back without hacing to do new cables.
Thanks for any insight into this.
Regards.
Ryan.

I'll be watching this thread as well. Exact same situation. One thing I did was to loosen the clamp and rotate the bars a bit closer to you. Essentially, I've got the rise of the bar in a straight line with the fork legs. Helped a bit.
I like the stock bars, don't really want to change them, but wouldn't mind an inch or so less reach. Not a big deal for me, but a simple solution would be nice. Don't want any tall risers.

J&P Cycles has 2.5" Pullback Risers that I found most helpful on my 2007 FXDC.
Call J&P Cycles Technical Support at 1-800-397-4844 to find out the correct riser and bolt part numbers for your application.

i asked a similar question a few weeks back...more about handlebar options instead of risers. anyway, someone suggested to me the dog bone risers that are adjustable. do a search on ebay for them. you can pick some cheap ones up for around $30. they are on the "captain america" bike if you want a pic of them on a bike.
Looks like these might work?

That eBay ad does not list your bike. People continually buy things off of eBay without verifying that it actually fits or that the P/N is correct for their bike. Then they write in this forum how they screwed up. Saving a few dollars is worthless if you get the wrong part.
My suggestion is that you verify that any part you intend to buy fits on your specific motorcycle. You can of course ask on this forum, email the eBay seller, etc. Also check with JP Cycles as I advised above. They are reputable, have telephone support, and will have parts that fit your bike.

I bought a set from Rivco (www.rivco.com). Up 1 inch & back 2 inches, and stock cables & wires all work. Install in about 20 min. Very good quality, but not cheap. Once again, very good quality. For me (5'9"), they are just a little short of what I need, but for now, they work. If I could find someone that wanted to swap Harley's 6" pull back risers, I'd probably do it. If you're over 5'9", or have long arms, the Rivco's should work.
