If you are talking about sound comparisons, bike rallies and bike nights (or other events) is the best. You can pull up different samples on you-tube, but they are not always good quality.
A lot of variables determine which exhaust is best for each situation.
I'm looking for an article in which somone used same bike under as close as possible dyno conditions and just changed exhaust. Anything out there like this?
no matter how much info you gather on the internet the most important will be to actually hearing different exhausts,All the stock engines basically make the same sound.you tried google?
Alot online if you google the subject. I found a great deal of information myself that made my exhaust choice easier...
Youtube is great for seeing and hearing different exhausts, but sound quality can be an issue there and nothing like hearing the pipe in person, but a good place to start. That is, if sound is your thing.
Otherwise, online searches will get you the best overall informatikon in terms of personal accounts and reviews of various pipes and what kind of performance gains one might expect with the right tuning..

what you have done to you motor? a 2-1 is the best pipe for power (thunder headers are the MAN for this) most of the diff on 2-2 is based on the tune you give your bike
One of the motorcycle mags used to do a big pipe shoot out comparison article about once a year.I think something like that would be what he was looking for.Sorry I don't know where to find it.
