+1 on the Corbin Hollywood solo - I ride mine 300+ miles at least once a month and don't get sore - perhaps you could send it to Mean City and get new foam or a gel pad - those guys do great work, costs a lot less than a new seat and turn it around in one day.
I thought Corbin's were suppose to have gel in them... Mine is rock hard.
I really like the looks and the seating position of the Hollywood compared to the stock seat, but what good is a seat that after 30 min in making my *** scream for mercy....
I don't know why anyone would buy a Corbin. They are hard as a rock. They try to tell me they "break in." BAHAHAHAHA. Ya, foam rubber break in...actually you just get used to it being hard.
That's a trip dude...mine is by far the best for me hands down! 500 plus mi.day & never thought about it, put me back & down about an inch. Huge improvement over the stocker, with the stocker I was allways tryin to move around tryin to get more comfortable on long rides (fu**ing miserable), with the hollywood I'm simply planted...not too soft, not too hard, just right! I weigh 190 if weights got anything to do with it? Never noticed a break in, just felt right from the get go. Seats are a real personal liking & all aren't for everybody but from what I've seen & heard the hollywood is more than satisfying for 95% of the buyers! Sucks yours doesn't work for ya!

If you appreciate quality construction, bar none, there's nothing to get used to. When the saddle is sculpted for your a$$, the firmness of the seat is not an issue (unless s person has a boney a$$), and then they would only be comfortable on a sofa. I've had a lot of seats since 1953 and I love this Corbin.
