Default Fat Bar Riser Kit with Stock Bars on a Fat Bob?

Yesterday I bought the Harley Fat Bar Riser Kit (56916-07) with every intention of getting a Flanders Drag 18 bar for my bike. However, when I looked at the risers at a glance I'm wondering if I can use them with the stock bars. They don't seem that much shorter than stock and they do put the bar a bit more forward.
Has anyone swapped out the risers with the stock bars? Do the turn signals clear the tank?

Okay, I just read this on the Harley site:

Does not fit Original Equipment FLSTC, FLSTF, FXDF and FXDWG 1.25" handlebars.

Hmmm...

Can you tell why it wouldn't fit? The FXDF bars are 1.25" all the way across, right?

That is correct about the FXDF bars. It may not "fit" do to the clearance of the turn sigs and tank as you suspect.

I'd say go for it if thats the look & ride fit you want. You can always relocate your sigs to the fork tubes.

I haven't unwrapped the risers yet (didn't have time last night). I might give it a whirl this weekend, if I have time. I kinda like the stock location of the turn signals, so I don't want to relocate them. I might be able to swivel them a little more forward. If so, I think they might work.
