I think for a little more money you can get way better shocks than 440's, entry level Ohlins, Works and YSS are all so much better than anything Progressive makes. I've had 440's and I was glad to get rid of them.

I agree. I dumped my 440s for a set of Works trackers.....1000% improvement!

DO NOT buy progressive 440's, OK i'm going out on a limb here and alienating everyone who has bought them and are seemingly content with their purchase, I bought them, it was a bad mistake on my part, I am trying to save you from making the same mistake I did, they are horrible shocks, do not buy off the shelf shocks, I am trying to save you money in the long run. Go for something better.

Couldn't resist could ya...LOL! 3 outa 6 people on this thread have bought the 440's and felt the need for more (better), I'm one of em & noticed a ginormous difference with my YSS shocks & agree to spend a little more $ for the yss, or get the works for about the same as the 440's & have a much better shock! Just speaking from hands on experience!

I talked to performance works, and by the time you add in the polished end cups, you are looking at like $700 for a pair of shocks. That is more than I paid for four top of the line Bilstein shocks for my truck.
