I've looked around, but haven't found an answer to the largest front tire that would mount on a Street Bob without having to make alterations.
Does anyone know, or better, has anyone mounted a wider tire on the oem rim?
Thanks, policepop
Thanks for the info, I really appreciate the response and think I'll go for the 110 at my first opportunity.

dont quote me but i am pretty possitive... hell i am putting it on mine... i was told that 120 is pushing it over the limit but also can be done... so i opted for the 110... it was also free from a buddy's dirt bike shop... the guy had the tire pulled and never came back... so he gave it to me.
unreal! i either true my own with jack stands and marker or i take them to a dirt bike shop... they do anything i bring them... the local honda shop does the same, cheap!
Here's a nice chart that outlines the stock sizes and max sizes (without modifications) for various model bikes. http://www.hdwheels.com/Product.htm They list a 120/70-21 as the max for the front. But like Joe said, that might be pushing your luck on a 2.5" rim. I'm assuming they're stating the 120 max tire size when paired with a 21" x 3.5" rim. Cheers, J
