ROTFLMFAO......AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA....

sata....
2 into 2 will give you maximum horsepower at the upper rpm ranges.
2 into 1, will give you max torque from low to mid rpm.

Depends on how you ride your bike. Also, "more power" is not all inclusive in it's description.

By the way, I doubt anybody at V&H would have told you that the "exhaust pulses get in the way of each other" on a 2 into 1 pipe. On a good 2 into 1 pipe with equal length header pipe, one pipe helps to scavenge the exhaust of the other. The pressure (or back pressure) is more equal between the two cylinders, just like the pressure is more equal on the intake side. So both cylinders are working at closer to the same settings..... yeah, it's probably easier to tune.

the pulses are pulling each other out,not getting in the way of each other. my propipe along with most other 2in1s has a o2 bung on each pipe allowing a tuner to sample air fuel from each cyl for tuning. drag bike use a short 2in2 because they only need power fom 4 to 7k,no need for low end or mid range trq. before you call somebody MISTER KNOW IT ALL,you need to know at least something about the subject yourself.

Uh ya they do because while one is on intake the exhaust on the other is still slightely open depending on cam duration, therefor while exhaust on one is going out the other sucks in slitely with a two into two that still happens because ther not sharing the same pipe but not as bad take a look at the big city thunder baffle and figure it out for yourself, call up big city thunder tech line and ask him about that little ring is actually for and not just the obviuous, ask him about exhaust pulses and harmonics when you cant figure it out and ask him yourself as well as vance and hines im sure there r and d departement know a dam site more than any of you. And the reason you my or may not get more torque from a two into one is because they are easy to tune and ther are not many tuners that actually understand what they are doing they just plug in a download from the internet or what the manufacturer tells them, but if you find a tuner that actually understands exhaust and how to tune a fuel injected motor i'll bet my bottom dollar you have almost identicall torque numbers and more horsepower, than a two into one. Hey no were did i say i new it all i and used to believe to that a two into one system was the **** but i talked to some people at big city thunder baffles and vance and hines for quite some time ,yes for the average joe tuner you will get more torque out of a two into one but a good tuner that knows his salt will get better numbers from a two into two.

I went from a TH to a VH pro pipe and I am very satisfied with the fit and finish. I feel no loss in performance with the stage one stock motor.
I thought the pipe would be quieter but I have set off more car alarms than with the TH. Really enjoyed the TH but after the wreck I decided to try a different exhaust and so far no regerts.

The 8 time AMI horsepower shootout champion(Wes Brown) uses/recommends D&D 2-1 and supertrapp supermeg 2-1. I'll take his proven word over someone that sells baffles for 2-1 pipes and someone at V&H!
