How much do airbrushes charge for a custom image and design on a bike? Just curious to see if it's something worth doing. Are we looking at like over $1000?
Thats about right, you have to shop around and let them know you did and the price you got. I got quotes from 2400 and that was with my tins, down to the 9 and change I paid and that was for new tins. Really it matters on how busy they are, how bad they want the business and what their company is like.
Best bet isto find an independent painter that will do it because unlike some of the "custom" shops an independent needs the works and will fight for th order, whereas a company that is larger has plenty of work and doesn't really need the business.
Furthermore, the independent turnaround will be light years faster then the TA of the larger companies. Some said 6 weeks I got mine in 4 days or so after the order was placed and was given pics everyday of the status and what it looked like.
Shop around, I can give you the info if the person who painted mine, he has tons of templates if you so choose or will do whatever you want for half the price of some "custom" shops.
Just my 2 cents. Not even worth that
