Default Started installing Night Train bar

I started installing my Night Train drag bar after work today. I got the bar mounted and the master cylinder, clutch lever, brake lever and switch housing all temporarily on the new bars. I'm happy with the setup so far. I am having a little problem with the speedometer. I can get it mounted on top of the bar but the wiring is too tight. I have to see if I can get a little slack somewhere to loosen it up. If not I guess I have to decide whether to splice on a little more wire to make it reach or find another way to mount my speedometer. I really don't want to lengthen the wiring but I can do it if I have to.

Hawk ...

I ran 3.5" straight risers on mine for about 2 years .... my '06 had just enough slack in the neck for those to work without binding. You may very well have to add some length to be completely satisfied. The bars look really good!!!

Nice. Looks awesome man. Love the stock bars on the night trains. Just perfect rise and size. Very comfy, if you ask me.

I just ordered a set of black 1.25" Flanders bars that are similar to the NT bars. I should be able to keep the stock FB risers. Though I tend to got for wide drag bars, these should really improve freeway riding.

Looks good... got some pics from other angles?

only thing I don't like about mine is finding mirrors I like that show me more than my arms.

Yellowhawk, how about your mirrors? Can you actually see behind you?
