wtf new noise
ok wtf..... new thunderheader, bars ,fairing ,seat power commander.i have a new noise i sounds like a rattle or clicking coming from the motor i took the fairing off it wasnt that i took the heat shields off not that even tightend the brake calipers and headlight. what do you guys think?

great sounds like fun i think im going to change the oil over to synthetic just to cross that off the list too thanks for the tip. ive also heard maybe an exhaust leak i didnt hear it until i put the thunderheader on ?

Seems like every time I do something to my bike, my sense of mechanical awareness is heightened to a level of 11 on a scale to 10. You have made changes to your bike that maybe you just aren't used to yet? It's still virtually a brand new bike. I doubt (and hope) that there is anything wrong with it.

got a sissy bar??? mine rattle two screws completely out on one side and loosened the other two... when you find the loose bolt... put some blue loctite on it... thats the best tool in the box for harleys!

I found the main cause of one of the rattles that I've had with my thunder headers. With my forward controls, the rear brake rod that goes from the controls to the back, was rubbing up against the pipe and rattling EVERYTIME I rode the bike. My front isolator was so bad that it apparently cause the whole motor to move some and begin hitting the pipe. Well, changed out my front isolator mount yesterday and that fixed the problem.
