Default Goofy problem with Wide Glide

I've been having an weird problem with my 07, my primary drain bolt is seeping, not much
just a couple of drops on the garage floor. I've used two kinds of sealant, and finally
teflon tape torqued it to 23 ft. lbs. and it's still seeping????? Any help would be great, thanks

replace the little donut gasket. Don't go overkill when you tighten it, or you'll just smash the donut gasket and ruin it. All else fails, throw a rag or a piece of cardboard under it and forget it.

Is it still under warranty ? If so, take it in ! With the primary... I wouldn't assume everything is fine.

I could be your shifter shaft seal up behind the primary. When it leaks it runs down to the primary plug and drips. Have a look see.

I went round and round with mine on my '05 a few years ago (replaced o-ring, replaced the plug, used teflon tape)...just could not understand why the freakin' little plug would not stop dripping....Felt around up farther under the case...turned out to be the main shaft seal...fixed under warranty...no leaks since.
