First hello all I'm new to the forum. I appologize for no avatar I'll get to that.
I just put forwards om my SG. I found as others have there is some effort to keep your feet on the pegs which after a significant ride made me slightly uncomforatable. I am considering heel rests or boards. I saw some are using the J&P oval shaker. I was thinking smaller would be better for me. I came across these: http://www.jpcycles.com/Search/Produ...&results=10&No=
They are Boot Dr Mini Bullet Boards. Only 6" long. Is anyone running these? How do you like the heel guard? Any pics?
Thanks in advance.
I have Kuryakin mini wing foot boards/pegs. Originally got them for the passenger position but because of the angle of the rear pegs, they looked like hell folded up. So, I ended up putting them in front and loved them. Only downside it that they will slip if you dont tighten them up well or use some blue loctite.
I've got the Boot Dr. Minis and they are OK, but I think my feet are too big for them (size 13). I've ridden about 250 miles or so with them installed and I think I'm going back to my pegs with stirrups.
I'd sell the Boot Drs if you know anyone interested.
