I would like to know how this is holding up also!!
I'm interested in painting my stock heat shields and slip on exhaust, but i'm worried it wont hold up.

The beauty of using a high heat rattle can to paint your exhaust is that when it does become a little worn, it's very cheap and easy to cover up what you don't want painted and lay down a new coat of fresh paint.

I've done my thunderheader this way. It will inevitably get beat up a little by the road debris being slung (sand, dirt, etc) at it at speed.

This is what mine looked like fresh after painting with hi-heat black bbq paint:



I did remove it for prep and painting (since I need to remove it for my cam swap several years back; figured that was a good time to do it).
