Hah thanks for kind words guys. I usually try to stay away from financing things, and if I do I make sure I can at the very least double the monthly.
Once the checking account recovers I'm thinking PCV with autotune, maybe a new seat for the longer rides, and spending some $$ on my poor neglected cars
Paid off the 4 year loan in 20 months. Took the 4 year because the rate was a lot better and extra payments went directly to principal.
But to the topic, the day the title came in the mail trading for a Road King flashed through my mind. I even worked out an Excel spread sheet with the Road King Classic price, add-ons with discount and estimated labor, various trade-in numbers, taxes, etc.
BTW I saw a couple Road King Classics at dealership last Sunday. One in Root Beer paint and one in Pearl White/Pearl Gray paint.
Hey, I still have the spreadsheet saved somewhere......

Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind! I love this bike though, and any other bike would have to be in addition to the bob.

Noticed that the neglected cars are listed after the bike stuff.
Just sent in a check for the full payoff amount left on my loan, should have the title in a week. Feels great to be rid of that payment. When I bought the bike in Feb 2008, I knew I wanted to pay it off before summer 09, and writing that check every month was painful. It'll be nice to have some extra cash again!

Just think of all the goodies you can get for your bike now!!!
