I had my windshield cut down. I'm happy with the height and curve but I just noticed a slight problem.
The top edge of the windshield has some damage done to the surface where tape was applied prior to the 'cut'.
Not too bad yet but I wonder if it will get darker as dirt enters.
I tried cleaning with "Harley Spray can Polish" but the 'smudges' just won't come off.
too late? just live with it?
If it gets bad... I can buy another shield but can this one be 'cleaned'?

You can try a cleaner/polish called Plexus. That would be the easiest but if that doesn't work you might have to try a buffing wheel on a drill or bench grinder with some polishing compounds.http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/buffman.htm
