You might want to try Nova windshield cleaner. They have a mildly abrasive formula made specially for windshields to remove minor scratches and smudges. I use it all the time and works good. You should be able to purchase it right from your HD dealer. It's also in HD's big book catalog. Good luck.

If you have a small buffer the better or just good old fashion elbow grease.
Great for getting minor scuffs like bug collisions or decal glue burns off.
Be careful with anything but plastic polish I have seen plexi crack when some cleaners or solvents are applied if it does not say safe for plastic on the label I would not risk it.
