I have a windshield on my RK that has a smudge maybe 2"x3" that looks like someone tried to clean it with something they weren't supposed to use. It is cloudy and discolored. The windshield itself is not damaged, it just has this cloudy smudge. Does anyone know anything that will clean this off a polycarbonate windshield? Help!!!!

Try Novus fine scratch compound. Most Dealerships sell it

Try an electric buffer and some cleaner wax. I have used Mothers in the past and it did a good job for me.

Buffers are great, but be careful, high speed buffers can heat up lexan and brun/melt it.

most of your parts stores sell a kit to clean headlamps. Most of them on cars are plastic and discolor and cloud up do to the enviornment. You know the yellowish color they get. You can try some of that it might work. Try a little on a part in the corner on the bottom to make sure it isnt gonna damage it worse. Read the package some of them have up to a 5 to 10 year guarantee with them so you really dont have much to lose

3-M makes a rubbing compound with fine grit, 39002. Follow it up with 3M Plastic Polish. I've restored a lot of plastic with that stuff, including faded saddlebags, windshields, and fairings.
