I have the quiet baffle and really like it. Its got a real good sound to it and is still plenty loud when you get on it. Once your at cruising speeds you can still hear it but it doesnt rattle your head.
Thanks for the reply BBRECK. I have heard the Q baffle and have heard the reviews that many many people are happy with that pipe, something about the sound above idle turns me off though. With so many service guys I talk to recommending the FatCat, I was just curious of a sound comparison between the two baffles. Maybe i would like the standard better???
I've got the standard baffle, and I don't find it too loud at all. Cruising is just fine. It does bark pretty good when you grab a handful of gas tho! I've got the Q baffle too, but I've never tried it to compare.
I have the so called quiet baffle in mine. I have never had a bike that got more comments about the fantastic sound that comes out of the pipes ...... here are some examples, of course they don't do it justice .....

thanks!! Ive heard your clips many times and love your bike. I just dont like the sound when its revved up, i.e. 1st video 21 second mark. Its obviously a popular pipe for a reason, but for me its just not the sound im looking for. Iwas curious about the Standard baffle, because ive always been a D&D fan and was wondering if it change the sound during rev up/under power.
If it helps any my Fatcat with quiet baffle is about the same "loudness" as the 2" Rush slip-on's it replaced. My dad has 2.25" Rush slip-on's and they are definitely louder than the Fatcat with QB.
