Default Fitting Screamin Eagle Plug Wires

I'm about to order some red plug wires, purely for looks - part 31937-99B.

I was just wondering how you go about clipping the larger 10mm leads. There's a couple of little clips that hold the standard lead to the top of the horn. I can't see if you can get these off the original lead, or whether there's a replacement clip or clips you need to order along with the leads themselves. Also I guess the small black clip nearer the coils which holds the standard 8mm leads won't clip the 10mm leads.

Anyone know?

Cut it off and use a cable tie.

OK, thanks all.

Is it that the horn clips are one-use clips, or that they're too small for the larger leads?

And no running problems with the higher resistance cables on the standard coils? I saw a thread somewhere recently where a few people had suspected using SE leads on stock ignition as being behind a few bad-running issues?

I've had mine installed for months without being secured by a clip.

This is not a big deal. Use a zip tie.
