Good to know that you were not seriously hurt. You should go to your doctor anyway as many have suggested. I hope the insurance companies do the right thing. Keep us posted.

You being OK is what counts.

Have anything that is even scratched replaced. After all, you “want it back the way it was 1 second before impact.”

Good luck

Bottom line: glad you made it through that ok. Your bike can be fixed. The person is a little bit harder sometimes.

Make sure your shop checks out the bike real good with an impact like that it could have done more then just cosmetic damage. Check the real wheel for trueness. Make sure the swing arm isn't bent etc. Would really suck to settle and then find that the rear end wobble like hell at high speeds.

glad you are okay, your neck and back is going to be sore no matter what. I liked dealing with progressive. My wife got hit by a kid in the rear end (of her car). within hours they were calling us. insisted, since it was only a few months old that it go to a dealer to get repaired. I have changed my motorcycle insurance over to them because of their service.
Maybe now you can finally get some chrome on that thing.
Glad you are OK. I agree, reflective vests are not effective.

Bikes can be fixed or replaced. Glad your doing alright. Make sure the insurance company makes the bike the way it was or better. Take care and best wishes.

Ouch! Glad to hear you're ok! I'm going to pass this link on to my son and remind him to be constantly watching his mirrors while stopped at stop signs/red lights.

Thanks for all the tips and support guys.

I just got back from giving the bike to my indy. So far I'm impressed with everyone involved with the accident. I called the shop this morning after it happened and talked to the owners daughter and when I got the bike down there she already had a folder made up for it and the adjuster had all ready contacted her with his info so she could let him know when they got the bike. She's going to let me know when he's coming so I can be there as well. Looks like we'll be adding two tires to the list as well, just had new ones put on Saturday.
