The parts are on order and trickling into the shop. The insurance adjuster keeps checking back with the shop for progress and then calls me to let me know how it's going. He doesn't need to do that, since I stop by a couple times a week to check on it, but I appreciate that he's staying on top of it. The shop called me today and they can't find a set of the Legend Supreme forwards like I had and asked if I would be good with a set of black Legend forwards. They are powder coating the my new bars etc this weekend and hopefully will have the rest of the parts in next week and have it back on the road by next weekend.
had the same thing happen to me at christmas... do yourself a favor, and get checked out by a doc. I found out a couple days after my wreck that i wasn't as good as i thought i was at the time. Glad you are ok.
I agree with the others to get yourself checked out. That kind of injury doesn't always show up right away and can mess up your life. Be sure you are fine.
Glad to hear you are up and about and joking about it.
Should be done next later this week..................
The bike should be done Thursday or Friday, the rear fender came in Thursday; they powder coated it yesterday and should have it ready to pick up when I get back from Albuquerque in a week. I can't wait, I've been jonesin'. I had to change a couple of things but for the most part it will be back the way it was. They don't make the stainless pipes anymore and we couldn't find anymore NOS sets so I went with chrome and wrap. They also no longer make the forwards I had(they were a set of NOS Supreme Legends from 1994) so I went with a black set from Supreme Legends. I also had them powder coat the rear fender for a little more durability when strapping stuff on the rack.
have a good trip, at least it did not get to far into summer.

I got the bike back yesterday.
Put about 150 on it after I picked it up just to make sure it wasn't going to wobble and rattle itself apart. I did another 100 or so today. All is good. I've still got the old forwards on it though, the new ones are on backorder still. Hopefully in a couple of weeks they'll be in.
