HD Race Downloads?
SEII slip-on tapered mufflers (p/n 80061-00)
SE A/C
8 degree injectors (stock)
I'm assuming that a map that's "close" to this spec with the SERT, is better than the Stage 1 download.
Is there a map available for the SERT, or that comes with the SERT, that's close the these components:

I'm assuming that a map that's "close" to this spec with the SERT, is better than the Stage 1 download.
My question is: Does it seem normal that the VE for the front would have such drastic changes on the high end?
I'm really wondering if they actually loaded and dyno'd with the HD download and threw this map together after I pressed them for a copy.
Thoughts?

Guys, had my bike dyno'd by an HD dealer. Initially, they were not going to give me a copy of the SERT map. But, finally got it. I felt that they MAY NOT have been knowing how to dyno using the SERT. Looking below, these are the only tables that have changes - as compared to the 127LF004 map.
My question is: Does it seem normal that the VE for the front would have such drastic changes on the high end?
I'm really wondering if they actually loaded and dyno'd with the HD download and threw this map together after I pressed them for a copy.

That said, probably the best setup for tuning these bikes and really dial in the tune is with that Twin Scan 88+/ WEGO kit from Daytona Sensors using the factory o2 bungs. The WEGO reads the exhaust and compares the actual A/F ratio with the target A/F ratio from the map and determines the proper VE changes. For me, this means being able to safely lean out the 100 MAP to 13.2:1 for max peak horsepower rather then the safe, one size fits all 12.5:1. Can't dream of doing this without having the VE table tuned properly! It means we can tell how much the closed loop bias MV settings actually effects the A/F ratio in closed loop mode. I find the FI tuning on these bikes to be great fun and a change from what I'm used to.
I just can't see using a tail pipe sniffer to pinpoint values for sert tuning. Exhaust reversion really throws off the readings for precise tuning but I'd use the sniffer on the road for a birdseye view buit not much more then that.

I went for an hour ride this evening. Stop at Starbucks for some coffee. While going through the parking lot the bike started its surging act. This is embarrassing.
One more thing, The HD Rep said the warranty on the ECM was void because I had the SERT installed. If I wanted them to look at this problem again, I would have to put in a new ECM with the factory map and re-install the OEM exhaust.
Many people feel EFI, the SERT and Dyno Tuning are the cure all for the 06 Dynas. I hear to tell you there not! I have put a lot of money into this science project with little satisfaction.
