went and picked up my fxdi yesterday. i really have not gotten to ride it much and its pouring down here today. what little i did ride was great. I am really happy with my bike. It was worth the wait. Now its just gettin it the rest of the way i want it. I will post some pics on here soon when it stops raining. Looks like its due to stop sometime next week though.

What color is yours, and how long did ya have to wait? My Fire Red Pearl FXDI is supposed to ship 05-12-06. The closer the date gets the tougher the wait is.

I picked out the brilliant silver and I only had to wait about a week and a half. My dealer found my bike at another dealer and traded for it. I got lucky...I hear the new dyna are selling like crazy and there are only a handful left besides the last couple shipments. I see why now I love mine.

Congrads!!! I've had mine for about a month and just hit 1000 miles. No complaints so far, except the honda sounding stock pipes.lol by the way, I got the silver as well!

 

I got black on mine, and the day i went looking at bikes at the dealer they had just uncrated mine and just put it on the show room floor as i walked in the door. Mine was stripped and i got it for MSRP $12,195. It was meant to be.

 

Yeah I passed up a Silver FXDI that my dealer had in stock in Feb when I ordered my bike because I really had my heart set on the Fire Red Pearl. I decided that I had waited 34 years to own my first Harley and that appx 3 months wouldnt be so long. Well,... The wait wasnt so bad until the weather started warming up, and now it getting pretty tough. But hopefully it wont be much longer now.
