Doesn't seem to be too many around. Is there any place to find out how many of each color they made in 08. I see that they stopped putting it on the FatBob in 09. This is mine. I like the way that color looks with black.
Finally someone else who has a CRD Fat Bob I have never seen another one in person
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I am a new member with a Crimson Red Denim Fat Bob. I came across this forum earlier in the week when checking to see how rare this color was.
I couldn't find any info online, so I called Harley directly. For those that are wondering, the tech I spoke to said they built 319 CRD Fat Bobs, and 167 of them were US models, the rest were overseas and Canada. He even seemed surprised at how rare they are.
Wow that is a low production # Thank You for the info. I better hang onto mine as well. I have never seen a Crimson Red Denim Fatbob or Street Bob since I bought mine. All of your bikes look awesome. I'M looking forward to seeing the White Hot Denim on the 2011 Street Glide.
I know what you mean, I have yet to see a Red Hot Denim (or Crimson Denim) Street Bob yet either.
I saw my first Crimson red Denim Street Bob last week. From the looks of it it was an 07 or 08 Bob. If they only mande the Crimson Denim in 08, then That settles the year for me.
I was shocked to see it. I had hoped I had the only Red Denim Bob in the area. Mine is Red Hot Denim (2009). But there is very little difference. I think the Crimsopn is a bit deeper red and the Red Hot is a tad lighter (or brighter).
