1584 engine

1 -how many miles is on your engine ?

2- has it started to burn or consume oil ?

3- is the engine getting louder...valves, primary chain...?

Almost 5000 miles, just did second service went full synthetic. No extra noises that haven't been there the whole time, granted this is my first HD and they seem a lil more "mechanical" sounding than other bikes I have been around

1- 07 with 23,000

2- never uses oil

3-sounds the same as the day i got it

12,000 miles
Busted front motor mount at 9k
Alternator replaced at 11k
Horrendous valve noise just started

15,000 miles, no new noises, doesn't use any oil, knock on wood.

08 FLHTCU 12000 .....no consumption ......no on noises.......It takes 10000 to break them in ...never added any during 12000 miles
