Actually it won't be good for you because you are getting the 25 degree injectors.
EDIT: I just compared the base SERT maps for the 8 and 25 degree injectors. They are identical in every table except from front and rear VE and the values are actually LOWER for the 25's!! The injector settings are actually the same as well. That makes no sense at all. The VE values do not change just because you swap injectors. I think what HD was trying to do is lean out the 25's even more. I'll bet that my map will run perfectly in a bike with 25's. I've got lots of values changed and the bike runs amazing.
PC, Just copy, paste the VE tables from the 25 degree injectors into your 8 degree map, rename it and it's done. I know this works perfectly with my map converted for 25 degree injectors. I've done a few of these with good results.
I think you mean the other way around copy and paste the 8's tables into the 25's. The 8's values are higher.
But...holy cow! I didn't know I could copy and past a whole table!! I've been printing things off and going cell be cell marking things off and making changes 1 by 1. I could have saved myself tons of time if I had known that! I guess I never went to File before and checked out the options. A normal right click just brings up options to change values and not copy. Thanks for that little bit of info!
Ive already scheduled my dyno job and the dealer says they can get it running great. So, I'm going to let them do it and see how it goes. I'm scheduled for 5/22 so we shall see. They said they can do my first service, stage 1, and dyno in one day. So WTF? I'm not that comfortable screwing around with the SERT plus they said my mods won't effect any warranty issues if they do the work and I use all HD Parts. (which is questionable) but for $200....I'm letting them do it.
