Les63 - Did you reprogram the ECU? Any fuel management issues? Also, did you reuse the stock exhaust clamps?
I did not flash the ecm nor do I have a fuel management system, used the original clamps. (just torked them down good and tight) No popping on decell went for another 80 mile run this morning, thats about 180-200 miles on the mufflers. Pulled the plugs wow nice tan color, could not be happier.
I do have new clamps just in case the muff come loose, but I doubt it.
Installation instruction I received from Rush
Remove the 4 bolts that go from muffler to muffler.
Loosen the muffler clamps and remove the stock mufflers.
Put the new mufflers on the same way you took stock off and tighten all hardware. Make sure to look inside the muffler body for day light. If you see daylight then continue to tighten clamp until it’s gone. If you have a torque wrench, tighten to 65 ft/lbs.
